“Connection Error” Change to “Connection Lost”

There is a new update in cafe world that green loading bars appeared when you login the game. Someone said it help to fix the loading issues, but we are wrong again, they just change from “connection error” issue to “connection lost” issue.

Everytime I go in to play it will start to download and then it will say” CONNECTION LOST”.I keep hitting ok and it will go to play and it will say the same thing connection lost.

i’ve been playing while appearing in my screen is “CONNECTION LOST”, while i can play other games and also FARMVILLE..i can’t play my cafe world now..because of that problem..please help me..

Cafe World has always slowed my computer down, but lately I can’t even play it because it doesn’t load properly. And it I should be able to play, within minutes it locks up and then the connection is lost. The “retrying” button COMPLETELY locks up my computer to the point where I have to shut the computer off the hard way – not even task manager works. UGH I really enjoyed the game but now it is just plain FRUSTRATING!

hi all:

ive been experiencing the same issue(s) recently and contacted zynga (via email). they have been very helpful and responsive to my issues. but nothing is solved.

he did suggest the following steps (in this order):
1. update the latest flash player: adobe 10.0.4.sumtin.
2. uninstall cafe world
3. reboot your comp
4. reinstall cafe world

i did these steps and nothing happened. the only noticeable difference is the graphics are better. (LOL! wow, whats the point when i cant even play the game right??)

BUT…i hope it works for someone out there.

I don’t know what’s going on with the Cafe, when I was at my Cafe’ i was changing my cafe around, I go back to cook and my food was gone that i purchased. I had to go and buy more food for my stove’s, I need to get my money back because i purchased 2 eggs that cost 1800.00 a piece and i purchased the pot roast and some other foods. And we should not have to take survey for a computer Glitch that already exist, it already have the computer’s moving slow. and then they want to download other stuff thats not right.

hi everyone! i had that problem too…everytime i click on my stoves to serve the dish, i end up getting the message “connection lost”…this has been happening since i served the vip meal and it has almost been 2 days since i keep having the same problem…then i tried something and it worked…i hope this could be helpful to you too

try this:
i waited for my cafe to finish loading, then i redecorated just a little…i added a window decor, a shelf in particular…just that…then when i clicked on my stoves to serve the dish, i didn’t get that message anymore…phew!

I keep getting connection lost message even when My broadband2go is still connected. I still can switch over to yahoo, farmville and their other games. Plus I get the retying message all the time. Please help. I have tried dial-up, wifi and broadband2go. It does it on all of them.

I’m having the same problem. I have more then one fb, with more then one cafe world. I’m having the problem with the main one, and not the others. So I went on someone else’s computer. Guess what? Same thing! That means, it’s cafe worlds fault! Not ours! It’s a problem that it has. All you can do is wait for it to work it self out. It was very nice of them not to tell us!

Was losing connection for three days, ever since I remodeled. Took the advice on here and bought a shelf and a few other odds and ends for my cafe and it worked!!! Thanks so much for the help.

Everytime I get on Cafe World, my computer comes to a virtual standstill. It is as if the game has become sludge. My computer freezes, it takes forever to load, it starts and stops constantly, and I get the ever popular “Connection Lost, try again.” I do try again, and it takes forever! What is going on? This does not happen anywhere else. My wall moves along nicely and I can navigate ok. It is only when I am on Cafe World that the problems begin. When will this be fixed?

I always have problems running Cafe World on Firefox…so I tried running it on Internet Explorer and it seems to run alot better I hope this helps some people resolve their cooking deliemas

In cafe world, every time I start to do some thing it comes up CONNECTION LOST. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONNECTION. CLICK OK TO RECONNECT AND CONTINUE PLAYING. Why dose that keep happening. it’s driving me around the bend. I will stop playing it if it keeps happening. Just about had enough.

Serve one dish – then connection lost – click retry, reconnect,served dishes are back unserved and often spoil while trying to stay connected – connection lost again – this is happening on 2 of our 3 family member’s accounts – gettin old – no point in catering or playing for that matter – think I will go back to Club Pogo; atleast Ican stay connected there…

I have had more spoiled food over and over againt because I keep losing connection when serving food. It took over two hours to serve food. I can never help a friend get a three star rating because food spoil before I can serve it. I’m sick of it. Today I can’t neven spice my neighbor because their kitchen will not come up. I’ll give it two weeks or need to be compensated for losing tons of food.

I have the same problem and i noticed it happens every time the dish u make somehow counts for a Goal you are working on. I havent found any sollution: just refresh the page after serving 1 dish! If u serve 2 dishes, the game wont register that. Simply put: every progress after that first serving is LOST. So it does register the 1st one.

This is how it is at my game tho, might be different at yours but it is still frustrating :) . No fun making 3/5-minute dishes cus half of them spoil before u served them. Well, now, anticipating that, i dont make 6 dishes at the same time but have intervals of like 30 sec, enough for me to reload the page.. but COMMON i dont wanna do so much trouble for a dish.. God when do they finnaly fix this :p The game is way too simplistic to be loading so slowly and have this kind of bugs (selling is bugged too @ me btw).

Oh, btw, u can test wether ur progress will be registered or not, by trying to save your game. Usually it saves in 1-5 sec, if it takes longer, ur connection is probably…. lost :p

Ever since Zynga “updated” Cafe World with the new green loading bar that appears on the bottom of the screen when you login to the game, this new problem arose. Zynga tried to fix the loading issues, but another problem appeared. The problem went from “connection error” issue to “connection lost” issue.

Here it is–August 22, 2011 and Cafe World is still showing their 2 “beloved” signs: Retrying and Connection Lost.
I just installed Norton’s Utility cleaner a, last evening and still have those 2 swigns. I doubt that there is anything one can do—–btw, this net book is new so it can’t be the problem.

Cafe World always mess you up when you are about to move to another level bug or refresh .why the food have to take so long?
